Elevating Patient Outcomes: Advanced Care Management Tools Unveiled in TruCare 24.1

At Zyter|TruCare, we are dedicated to equipping healthcare payers with sophisticated tools that enhance care management and elevate the quality of patient care. The TruCare 24.1 release introduces substantial enhancements to the ODAG (Organization Determinations, Appeals, and Grievances) Authorization module, aimed at optimizing coordination and navigation in value-based care. 

Empowering Care Management with Advanced Tools 

Utilization Managers often grapple with the complexities of compliance-heavy processes necessary to meet CMS’s ODAG requirements. These manual procedures are time-consuming and prone to errors, detracting from the primary focus of patient care. The TruCare 24.1 release directly addresses these challenges with targeted improvements in the ODAG Authorization module. 

Key Enhancements: 
  • New Out-of-the-Box Line-Item Fields: Utilization Managers at BHPs (Business Health Plans) can now leverage new out-of-the-box and configurable line-item fields at the BHP (Business Hierarchy Profile) level in TruCare 24.1. These enhancements ensure precise coordination and navigation in value-based care, offering greater control and customization to meet specific needs. 
  • Precise Tracking with Line-Item Source Dropdown: Authorization Coordinators can utilize the new Request Source dropdown available at the line-item level. This feature allows for more precise tracking and management of authorization requests. BHP administrators can configure this for display at the line-item level, enhancing the overall control over the authorization process. 
  • Streamlined Authorization with AOR Validity Capture: Authorization Specialists will find the authorization process further streamlined with the capture of AOR validity within the line-item section for each request. This improvement ensures that all necessary information is readily available and accurately recorded. Multiple new AOR-related fields can be configured at the BHP level, including: 
    • AOR Request (Yes/No): Indicates whether an AOR request has been made. 
    • AOR Receipt Date: Captures the date when the AOR request was received. 
    • Form Required (Yes/No): Identifies if a specific form is required for the AOR. 
    • Form Type (Dropdown): Allows users to select the type of form needed from a dropdown menu.

Natalie Schibell, MPH

VP of Product Marketing

Natalie is the VP of Marketing Strategy, Intelligence, and Insights at Zyter|TruCare. She leads market intelligence initiatives and guides strategic decisions across all departments. With a keen focus on data-driven insights, she orchestrates the collection, analysis, and dissemination of market data to propel Zyter|TruCare to the forefront of the digital health industry.

Natalie also directs the company’s DOD Skillbridge Program, leveraging her expertise to mentor transitioning service members in their professional development journey.  

Prior to this role, Natalie was the VP, Research Director for Healthcare at Forrester, overseeing the vertical’s research agenda planning, content production, and client engagement. She also served as a VP, Principal Analyst at Forrester, assisting healthcare and life sciences organizations in leveraging technology to drive quality healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. Her research and analysis have been globally cited in publications such as the WSJ, WSJ Pro-Venture Capital, Forbes, NBC News, USA Today, The Business Journals, Business Insider, Fierce Healthcare, Healthcare IT News, STAT News, LeMagIt, VentureBeat, Axios, Healthline, Modern Healthcare, and many others.

Prior to his role at Zyter|TruCare, he served as the Vice President of Operations and Insights for Healthcare and LifeSciences (HLS) and Finance at Salesforce. During his tenure, he made significant contributions as the company’s Sector GM for Payers/Delivery Systems, with a keen focus on provider network management.  

Before joining Salesforce, Brian excelled at OneCall, the nation’s leading ancillary provider in Workers’ Compensation, where he held various executive leadership roles for seven years, most notably as the Senior Vice President of Provider Relations. Throughout his almost two-decade-long career, Brian has cultivated a diverse background in the healthcare space, encompassing management roles in retail health, corporate wellness, post-acute care and rehab, health insurance, and workers’ compensation.
