Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team in the value-based care technology segment. Reporting to the VP of Market Strategy, Intelligence, and Insights, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive the adoption and success of our suite of technology solutions. Your primary focus will be launching and positioning our products effectively, driving market awareness, generating leads, and supporting sales through targeted messaging, campaigns, and competitive and market intelligence. This role requires a deep understanding of product messaging, marketing campaigns, and healthcare technology, and a proven record of accomplishment in product marketing and positioning healthcare software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to promote our value-based care technology solutions across various sectors including healthcare providers, payers, MSOs, and public health organizations.
- Conduct thorough market analysis, competitor research, and trend identification to pinpoint product differentiation opportunities. This involves attending customer focus groups, key customer meetings, and engaging with user communities to gather insights and metrics.
- Utilize gathered insights to craft effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies, as well as produce marketing collateral to communicate the benefits of our solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, legal changes, and emerging technologies in healthcare to ensure compliance, identify market trends, and uncover potential partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives, product strategy, and sales targets.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns through various channels including digital marketing, social media, partnership collaborations, and industry events to drive engagement and generate leads.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop pre-sales content and support the selling process with relevant materials.
- Manage communications plans for internal and external stakeholders regarding product releases and enhancements.
- Provide market feedback to product management to inform product roadmap decisions and drive product enhancements.
- Analyze market data and track KPIs to evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing strategies.
- Support branding initiatives and awareness campaigns both internally and externally.
- Assist in AR/PR efforts to highlight product strengths and innovation efforts.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure customer needs are addressed effectively.
Deliverables
Product
- Support product release lifecycle, press and analyst relationships, market research, product content, adoption measurement, customer stories, product roadmap certifications, annual customer event, budget management, and staff synchronization.
- Assist product management in UX, customer feedback analysis, and market needs evaluation.
- Assist product architecture in research and budget decisions.
- Assist product engineering in product release readiness and programming.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive product knowledge base, providing sales and customer support teams with up-to-date information to effectively address customer inquiries and support product positioning in the market.
Strategy
- Assist the value team in evaluating innovations, inventorying feature sets, scoring feature maturity, pricing, and recommending partners.
Sales
- Assist the sales team in developing demos, supporting key customer deals, go-to-market activities, and building business cases.
Operations
- Assist the operations team in setting OKRs for product marketing activities.
Success
- Support development and implementation activities and meet with customers for post-release briefings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, with a strong emphasis on healthcare products.
- Experience in population health management software is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of end-user and buyer personas within the healthcare industry, enabling targeted and effective marketing strategies.
- Expertise in content generation, messaging, and positioning, capable of crafting compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences and differentiate the product in the market.
- In-depth knowledge of value-based care models and healthcare reimbursement processes, particularly within the healthcare sector.
- Thorough comprehension of the release management process, ensuring smooth and efficient product launches and updates in the healthcare software domain.
- Proven record of accomplishment of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns within healthcare.
- Strong analytical abilities, with the capability to measure and optimize marketing performance to drive business outcomes.
- A collaborative team player with robust project management skills, adept at coordinating cross-functional efforts within a fast-paced environment.
- High proficiency in PowerPoint to create engaging presentations for internal and external audiences, including investors, analysts, and buyer personas.
