Systems Engineer

Work From Anywhere (Remote)

Digital health innovator Zyter|TruCare is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Application Management Services team supporting the day-to-day operations of its private/public cloud offerings.  The ideal candidate will collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service to existing customers and deployment of new customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day operations of client public/private cloud deployments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Support, Product Engineering, and IT to ensure performance, and availability of client environments.
  • Plan and execute department initiatives and new client deployments.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure that all trouble and service request tickets are promptly and effectively resolved.
  • Create, document, and follow new and existing procedures and best practices.
  • Plan, Approve, and execute change requests.
    Generate and deliver reports.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Occasional off-shift and weekend work is required.

Background & Experience

  • Previous experience working with enterprise mission-critical Java based applications in a support/operations role.
  • Previous experience working in multi-region environments handling 24x7x365 operations.
  • Previous experience with various database technologies, such as MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and MySQL.
  • Previous experience performing MS Windows & Linux system administration & troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience administrating and troubleshooting issues with stand-alone and Kubernetes cluster application servers using Tomcat, Apache httpd, etc.
  • Previous experience with the following network technologies and protocols:
    DNS
    LDAP
    Load Balancers, switches, and firewalls
    HTTP/s, FTP/s
  • Knowledge of HTML/5, CSS, T-SQL, PowerShell, and shell
  • Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices in MS Windows/Linux based environments.
  • Experience with Solar Winds, CloudWatch, or Grafana based monitoring tools.
  • Ability to understand and learn new technologies quickly.
  • Knowledge or experience deploying or supporting Docker/Kubernetes based applications.
  • Significant experience in a technical role supporting public/private cloud environments.
  • Strong communication skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and senior audiences.
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently in fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience deploying and supporting Cloud based applications (AWS, Azure, or Google) is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ experience working in and supporting cloud-based applications.
  • Past working experience in healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of HIPPA Compliance and NIST/Hi-Trust Security Guidelines
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and applying them in a services-based organization
  • AWS SysOps or Solution Architect Certification a plus.

Mr. Govil began his association with Zyter in 2017 as its Chief Executive Officer, a position he held for over six years, leading the company through groundbreaking advancements in digital health. His leadership was pivotal in Zyter’s acquisition of Casenet® LLC in 2021, significantly expanding the company’s reach to manage healthcare for 11% of the U.S. population. Kevin was the General Manager for Healthcare & Life Sciences at Salesforce, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing the Health Cloud product lines. Kevin came to Salesforce from Vlocity (a Salesforce acquisition) where he led both the Health and Government businesses.

With over a decade of experience, Serena has proven herself adept at helping Public and Private Sector Organizations optimize their processes through Business Process Re-engineering Practices (BPR) and the implementation of TruCare across various Care Management Organizations. Her expertise spans across Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Public Sector lines of business, where she guides clients through readiness review processes, compliance requirements, system integrations, and testing. Collaborating seamlessly with ZTC Product Management for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Serena’s contributions enrich the entire product ecosystem.

 With nearly 15 years of dedicated service at Zyter|TruCare, Todd has made significant contributions across various facets of the company. He has held pivotal roles, from Managing Strategic Account Executive in Account Management, working closely with our largest clients and projects, to leading successful implementations within the Delivery Success organization. A board-certified spinal surgeon of exceptional repute, Dr. Sethi continues to maintain an active clinical practice, holding special permissions to perform procedures at hospitals in the Washington DC metropolitan region, affiliated with the Johns Hopkins system. Natalie Schibell, MPH

VP of Product Marketing

Natalie is the VP of Marketing Strategy, Intelligence, and Insights at Zyter|TruCare. She leads market intelligence initiatives and guides strategic decisions across all departments. With a keen focus on data-driven insights, she orchestrates the collection, analysis, and dissemination of market data to propel Zyter|TruCare to the forefront of the digital health industry.

Natalie also directs the company’s DOD Skillbridge Program, leveraging her expertise to mentor transitioning service members in their professional development journey.  

Prior to this role, Natalie was the VP, Research Director for Healthcare at Forrester, overseeing the vertical’s research agenda planning, content production, and client engagement. She also served as a VP, Principal Analyst at Forrester, assisting healthcare and life sciences organizations in leveraging technology to drive quality healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. Her research and analysis have been globally cited in publications such as the WSJ, WSJ Pro-Venture Capital, Forbes, NBC News, USA Today, The Business Journals, Business Insider, Fierce Healthcare, Healthcare IT News, STAT News, LeMagIt, VentureBeat, Axios, Healthline, Modern Healthcare, and many others. 

Before her tenure at Forrester, Natalie served as a Public Health Analyst at the CDC’s National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases. Prior to his role at Zyter|TruCare, he served as the Vice President of Operations and Insights for Healthcare and LifeSciences (HLS) and Finance at Salesforce. During his tenure, he made significant contributions as the company’s Sector GM for Payers/Delivery Systems, with a keen focus on provider network management.  

Before joining Salesforce, Brian excelled at OneCall, the nation’s leading ancillary provider in Workers’ Compensation, where he held various executive leadership roles for seven years, most notably as the Senior Vice President of Provider Relations. Throughout his almost two-decade-long career, Brian has cultivated a diverse background in the healthcare space, encompassing management roles in retail health, corporate wellness, post-acute care and rehab, health insurance, and workers’ compensation. 

Brian’s academic accomplishments include an undergraduate degree from Kent State University and an MBA in Leadership Development from Jacksonville University.
